Hello All,

I know you are busy launching the new school year, but I hope you will find time to join with teachers across the country on Friday, September 6th, at 8 p.m. to watch the film "Teach" on CBS. This documentary from Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim follows four teachers to answer the question, "What does it take to be a teacher?"

Not that anyone will see this, but here's a question - can someone remind me what the maximum MBs or GBs we can have in our whole submission. I'm trying to see if my videos are small enough already in their .avi form at 400 MB each.

Morgan thank you for all the updates on the verification. I found it helpful and it is very easy if anyone has not yet filled it out.

I'm not logging in today for the meeting. I NEED to be writing my entry 3 write up. However, I do have one question for the group. For the Exceptional Learners cohort, did anyone do a social skills lesson, meaning the socials skills was not embedded in another type of academic lesson. The lesson was strictly social skills.  That's how I interpreted entry 3. Hope I'm on target. Please advise if you feel I have misunderstood the lesson. - Tiff

Hi everyone - it took about 3 days, and my eligibility was verified - so it shows on my profile that it is complete.  Again, very simple - just need to fill out the one form in the beginning of the blue book (in your box).  Don't need to send transcripts, or diploma, or anything like that - if you've worked for your school district for the last 3 years, all your principal has to do is sign the form - and then you need to fax your teaching credential or license. Way easier than I thought it was going to be!  Again, please call or email of I can answer any questions for you. Happy Holidays - see you in January!  :-)

Hello candidates!  Wanted to let you know that I just faxed over my eligibility forms - MUCH easier than I thought.  I only had to send 1 form (since I have worked in my district for over 3 years) that my principal had to sign; I also sent my verification of my teaching credential (which I printed out from the CA teacher credential webstite).  The fax # to send the eligibility paperwork is 888-811-3514.  I called to verify they received my forms - they said to give it a day or two and to check "my profile" - it should be updated there.  Super easy - but the deadline is January 31 - so I would get this stuff in now!  :-)   If I can answer any more questions please call or email.  morganpellettera@yahoo.com  - thanks all!  Happy Holidays to you and yours!  :-)
